Senior Blue Team Instructor
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Blue Team Instructor to lead advanced defensive cybersecurity training programs. In this pivotal role, you will deliver practical, scenario-based instruction in threat detection, incident response, SOC operations, and more. You will also mentor junior instructors, support curriculum development, and help shape the next generation of cyber defenders. Relocation to one of our global campuses is required.
What We’re Looking For

- Deliver high-impact, hands-on instruction in Blue Team methodologies, including SIEM management, threat hunting, incident response, and digital forensics.
- Guide students through realistic SOC environments, log analysis exercises, and simulated cyberattack scenarios.
- Mentor and support junior instructors, helping to build internal instructional capacity and team strength.
- Collaborate with the curriculum development team to update and enhance Blue Team content based on the latest threats, frameworks (e.g., MITRE D3FEND, NIST), and technologies.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive, tailored feedback.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and certifications to ensure curriculum remains relevant and cutting-edge.
- Foster a learning environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and resilience under pressure.
The Essentials
Mandatory Requirements & Credentials
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a Blue Team, SOC, or Incident Response role (Tier 2/3 preferred).
- Solid experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, QRadar), EDR solutions, and security monitoring platforms.
- Deep understanding of network traffic analysis, threat intelligence, malware analysis, and cyber defense operations.
- Previous experience as a trainer, instructor, or team lead in cybersecurity.
- Strong grasp of cyber kill chain, MITRE ATT&CK, and cyber defense frameworks.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills (additional languages a plus).
- Ability and willingness to relocate internationally and work in a multicultural academy setting.
- Industry certifications such as GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, CISSP, or Security+ strongly preferred.

- Experience in designing cyber defense scenarios, CTFs, or tabletop exercises
- Fluency in multiple languages
