Bina platform deployment: Ivy Tech

Deploying Bina across two Ivy Tech campuses supporting cybersecurity and computer science programs
Enabling hands-on AI and coding education for students and academic staff
Supporting K–12 outreach initiatives aligned with future enrollment and recruitment goals
Validating platform effectiveness through a structured proof-of-concept process
Establishing a scalable foundation for potential multi-campus expansion
Overview
Ivy Tech Community College partnered with CyberproAI to deploy the Bina platform across selected Indiana campuses, strengthening applied AI and computer science education while supporting community outreach and student recruitment. As Indiana's statewide public community college system, Ivy Tech engaged CyberproAI to implement the Bina platform on two campuses as part of its cybersecurity, computer science, and AI education initiatives. The platform serves 80 students across both Cybersecurity and Computer Science departments, delivering practical, hands-on learning in cybersecurity, Generative AI, and coding. Ivy Tech also uses Bina for outreach with local K–12 communities to spark early interest in technology careers and strengthen future enrollment pipelines. The engagement followed a structured sales and onboarding process, including live presentations, an on-campus demonstration, and a 7-day proof-of-concept to validate platform fit and instructional value.
Objectives
- 1Introduce a practical AI-enabled platform to support cybersecurity and computer science instruction
- 2Enable students and staff to develop applied coding and AI skills through hands-on use
- 3Support outreach programs engaging local K–12 communities and prospective students
- 4Validate platform suitability through a low-risk proof-of-concept approach
- 5Establish a repeatable deployment model for broader institutional adoption
Program Design & Scope
Platform deployment
CyberproAI deployed the Bina platform across two Ivy Tech campuses in Indiana. The deployment supports approximately 80 students, along with academic staff. The platform is used in instructional settings as well as for guided exploration outside of formal coursework.
Academic use cases
Students leverage the platform for applied activities and studies, while staff use it to support instruction, experimentation, and skills development. The platform's flexibility allows it to be integrated into multiple learning contexts without extensive infrastructure changes.
Community and K-12 engagement
Ivy Tech uses the Bina platform to engage with local K–12 communities. These activities are designed to generate early interest in cybersecurity, computer science, and AI, while supporting Ivy Tech's long-term recruitment and enrollment strategies.
Syllabus integration and academic coverage
CyberproAI provided Ivy Tech with a flexible syllabus framework designed to integrate seamlessly across Software Engineering, Computer Science, and Cybersecurity programs. The syllabus enables faculty to embed Bina directly into existing coursework, supporting both foundational instruction and advanced applied learning.
