Overview
The Cyber Front exercise was a joint cyber defense initiative held from July 14 to 25, 2025, in Israel, involving the Massachusetts National Guard, Israeli Home Front Command, and a cyber team from the Kenya Defense Force. The Cyber Front exercise combined Capture the Flag challenges with live simulations of attacks on critical infrastructure. Within days, multinational teams identified and mitigated more than 2,000 vulnerabilities, developed shared investigative procedures, and restored compromised systems.
Objectives

Program Design & Scope
Hyper-realistic joint simulation
Hosted at CyberproAI headquarters and driven by Cympire's AI-powered cyber simulation platform, the exercise delivered hyper-realistic, high-impact training for multinational defense teams. The project included a weeklong technical challenge and a realistic cyber engagement simulating the detection and eradication of a threat using tactics of actual threat actors.
Critical infrastructure focus
Cympire powered all technical challenges and five-day simulations, with a focus on critical infrastructure across water, energy, and security systems.

Impact
U.S., Israeli, and Kenyan cyber teams, despite no prior experience working together, quickly formed an effective unit able to cover investigation and response requirements
Within three days, the joint team identified the threat actor, reversed exploits, and restored systems to normal functioning
Cross-border teamwork proved especially beneficial, as cyber threats are not restricted by national boundaries
Cyber Front marked the first joint exercise between the Massachusetts Guard and Israeli HFC, following eight years of bilateral cooperation
The participation of Kenya Defense Force cyber specialists brought further diversity and insights, highlighting the exercise's international scope
