Overview

CyberproAI delivered the CISO bootcamp as a pilot program consisting of three intensive 5-day full-time modules delivered over alternating weeks, totaling 15 days of comprehensive training. The program was designed to build deep capability among government Chief Information Security Officers and their leadership teams on critical security domains essential to Singapore's strategic objectives. The bootcamp addressed potential critical capability gaps within government security leadership. By providing intensive, expert-led training on emerging threats, advanced security strategies, and modern security architectures, the program equips CISOs with the knowledge and skills needed to lead their organizations through rapid technological change and evolving security landscapes. The pilot was conducted during March-April 2026 and covered topics covering both day-to-day CISO concerns, emerging technologies and risks they need to prepare for and deep dives/hands-on activities. This iteration demanded from CyberproAI continuous refinement and modifications during the delivery, highlighting the flexibility and deep capabilities CyberproAI brings to the table.

Program Design & Scope

Emphasis on hands-on activities

Participants engaged in 39 hands-on activities and lab exercises across 15 days, significantly exceeding the original plan. These ranged from group discussions to scenario analysis and tabletop exercises.

Topics representing current and future challenges

Content covered both current pressing issues of interest to senior security leaders and future challenges around new technologies (AI and Agentic AI), required transitions (to PQC) and ongoing government initiatives (S2P).

Collaborative, Team-Based Execution

Structured peer engagement and discussion forums identified as unique value. Being able to interact and solve challenges together is a rare opportunity for these senior leaders.

Deliverables

  • Pre-Program Aptitude and Knowledge Assessments to establish a baseline of leadership traits and technical proficiency among the 20 participating CISOs.
  • 15-Day Three-Block Intensive Curriculum: Risk Management, Security Testing, and Governance conducted over alternating weeks to accommodate senior executive schedules.
  • 39 Hands-on Technical Labs and Activities significantly increased the volume of practical exercises in response to participant demand, moving beyond lectures to applied learning.
  • Adaptive Real-Time Syllabus Adjustments: the delivery model was "participant-responsive," meaning content like Cryptography was expanded from a half-day to a full day as per live feedback.
  • Peer-Led Strategic Dialogue Sessions: a core deliverable was the creation of a unique forum for senior government executives to engage in high-level discussions on shared strategic challenges.
  • Domain-Specific Priority Gap Analysis: the final report delivered a "Priority Score" ranking for 12 cybersecurity domains, identifying Cryptography and Cloud Security as the most critical skill gaps requiring immediate attention.
