Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to lead the R&D in Cywareness. Working with Python, React, multiple DBs and hosted on the AWS cloud. This role requires both strong leadership and hands-on development skills. You will manage distributed teams based in Israel and abroad, drive technical excellence, and ensure high-quality delivery in a fast-moving startup environment.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and mentor full-stack developers.

  • Take hands-on ownership of complex technical challenges and software architecture.

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain applications using Python (backend) and React (frontend).

  • Oversee both AWS cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

  • Apply DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code.

  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-impact features.

  • Foster a high-performance engineering culture, emphasizing quality, speed, and collaboration.

  • Manage code reviews, technical roadmaps, and sprint planning in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Technical Skills


  • Proven experience as a Team Leader in a tech company, preferably in a startup.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python (FastAPI) and React.

  • Solid understanding of AWS cloud service..

  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies (Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, VPCs).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing remote teams.

  • Experience working in a startup environment and comfortable with rapid iteration and change.

Bonus Points


  • Implementing ML modules and integrating external AI services.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity-related applications.

  • Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
