We are looking for a skilled Network Security & Enterprise Defense Trainer to deliver a comprehensive course covering firewalls, VPNs, and core enterprise defense strategies. This trainer will guide learners through hands-on configurations, security policies, threat prevention, and operational defense techniques used by network/security engineers.
What You'll Do
[Key Responsibilities]
- Deliver training on Security Gateways & Enterprise Defense, including firewall fundamentals, NAT, policy configuration, VPNs (SSL/IPSec), secure remote access, web filtering, antivirus, and application control.
- Introduce malware, vulnerabilities, and defense strategies.
- Create real-world labs using firewall appliances or simulators.
- Teach students to build and manage secure enterprise environments.
- Provide troubleshooting scenarios, attack simulations, and defense tactics.
The Essentials

- 2+ years of experience with firewalls, network security, or infrastructure defense training.
What You Bring

- Familiarity with platforms like Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point.
- Practical experience with VPNs, NAT, and network inspection tools.
- Understanding of vulnerability assessment tools (Nessus, OpenVAS, Qualys, etc.).
Security Gateways Expertise:
- Firewall architecture & concepts.
- Logging, monitoring & security policies.
- Network Address Translation (NAT).
- Firewall authentication and identity-based policies.
- SSL VPN, IPsec VPN, and Explicit Proxy setup.
- Antivirus & Web Filtering.
- Application Control & Content Inspection.
Enterprise Defense Expertise:
- Introduction to Enterprise Security Architectures.
- Security Operations & Defense-in-Depth.
- Fundamentals of Malware Analysis.
- Vulnerability Assessment & Patch Management.
