Joint Israel–Germany Cyber Exercise: Operational Training in the Digital Domain Using Cympire Technology

Representatives from Israel’s National Cyber Directorate, alongside governmental cyber entities from Germany, took part in the exercise. All participants operated together in a reality-based simulated environment, practicing attack and defense scenarios, real-time decision-making, and multi-organizational cooperation.

The exercise was conducted using the platform developed by Cympire, a technology company specializing in advanced cyber simulation and training solutions.

Cympire’s technology enables the establishment and operation of a dynamic cyber range based on complex scenarios that simulate realistic attack and defense environments. Participants worked “keyboard to keyboard” against evolving threats, with a focus on operational readiness, teamwork, and decision-making processes under pressure.

During the exercise, advanced multi-layered simulation capabilities were employed, simulating infrastructures, information systems, and attack chains relevant to the modern cyber arena.

The training environment enabled an in-depth examination of both tactical and strategic aspects, from real-time responses to cyber incidents to inter-organizational coordination and the operation of command and control mechanisms in complex scenarios.

The cooperation between Israel and Germany in the cyber domain constitutes a significant component of preparedness for global threats. The exercise served as a platform for deepening mutual knowledge, sharing operational experience, and fostering professional collaboration between the parties, as part of an ongoing effort to strengthen readiness in the digital domain.

The training took place at the training facility of CyberproAI in Ra’anana, which serves as a dedicated infrastructure for advanced cyber training and for practicing operational scenarios for security, governmental, and civilian organizations.
